The team behind Tennis(24/7) is inspire2coach (i2c)
Learning, coaching, playing and mentoring tennis are activities that i2c is passionate about. We run some 200 coach education courses, face-to-face, every year to share our experience and expertise. But after the course ends – then what? I’m sure you’ve been in the position before where you’ve got home and you want something to refresh your memory. Or something you filed away in memory for later pops up as something you really need to see now. One of the brilliant things that Tennis(24/7) offers is a way to go back to – or extend – our coach education course training in your own time.
Coaches are always looking for ways to demonstrate technique to their players and to get solutions to the myriad of challenges they face with their players, and they really appreciate seeing the drills and ideas that we recommend. The internet is full of material – but the internet has reached a point where there is too much stuff. A lot of the videos are low quality and include poor advice. It takes more time than coaches or parents have to find and bookmark quality video. Parents, in particular, also don’t have the expertise to see what is quality amongst the massive quantity.
Tennis(24/7) let coaches access our expertise whenever and wherever they needed it. Feedback has been great and we’ve got members around the world. A member in Spain has modelled his 4-8 year olds serve coaching on our Developing the Serve series of videos. Another subscriber from Pittsburgh told us how he loves our coaching philosophy. Those are things we’re really proud of. We are hoping that along the way, more coaches will share with their success stories with us – if our drills and tips help, then that’s the best news of the day.
